The Bubbles Bag

I found a great fabric by Alexander Henry in my stash  (Larkspur Bright, from Fabric Depot) and it called to  me to make something. I had only 1/2 a yard so not much to work with, but this pattern for a tote from Unfortunately Oh! was perfect. She calls it the bubbles Bag, and now so do I. A great tutorial, easy to sew and I love it.

I made the straps a little longer … from 22″ to 32″ as I like to carry a bag over the shoulder, at least on my good one. I added fusible fleece to the canvas outer fabric an inside pocket and a heavy weight cotton lining. I love it!

What do you  think?
